OMAHA, Neb. - Gallup, Inc., a world leader in performance management consulting and polling, is proud to announce the acquisition of enetrix, a Madison, Wisconsin-based firm that specializes in online survey management and related software services. Gallup, regarded as the world's leader in polling, employee and customer engagement consulting, will further fortify its prominent technology standing with this acquisition.

This investment will retain all 21 Madison-based employees and managers, increasing the number of Gallup's global associates to more than 2,000.

Their online survey solution provides the robust, scalable technology that is necessary for Gallup's high-profile, large-scale projects."

The acquisition of enetrix, a premier provider of online survey services and e-commerce solutions to America's leading associations, also brings to Gallup a compensation consulting practice -- Carlson Dettmann Consulting. These two groups will continue as wholly owned subsidiaries of Gallup with expanded operations based in the Madison area.

The acquisition was effective December 1, 2008.
